Community Vision Family Day Care Scheme
The Scheme is made up of a coordination team of childcare professionals who assist families to place children into care with licensed childcare providers who operate home based childcare services.
The Scheme provides
- 80 self employed professional childcare educators who work from their Family Day Care small business to provide quality care for children and the families.
- Recruitment and support for interested community members who wish to set up a small home based childcare service.
- Support for families to find their preferred Family Day Care educator and maintain the enrolment of children.
- Support and monitor the provision of quality home based child care.
- Toy Library for Family Day Care Educators.
- Playgroup for children attending Family Day Care.
The Scheme, which is accredited through the National Childcare Accreditation Council, monitors the services provided for children enrolled within the Scheme. Each service is licensed through the Child Care Licensing and Standards Unit Regulations and complies with the Family Day Care Regulations.
Family Day Care Schemes do not work within geographical boundaries. We currently support childcare educators in over 30 suburbs from Balga through to Yanchep.
