What's new at Community Vision?Looking to the Future for Community Vision: Community Vision celebrated its 5th birthday in July of 2006. Since its early days, there have been changes to the services that are provided to the community. In 2006-07 Community Vision has seen services expand in several areas. We were successful in receiving growth funding from the WA Department of Health for our Home and Community Care Programe. In particular, we were delighted to receive further support for our services to people living with dementia. This is an area we will continue to grow our activities.We were successful in our submission to take on the Veterans' Home Assessment Services in the South East Region and the Perth Metropolitan region when the previous provider decided to withdraw from service delivery. We continue to see and experience increasing numbers of families seeking our range of services for people living with a disability. This is for MY VISION and Intensive Family Support. Family Day Care Services are going through a period of change and Community Vision is adapting it's services to meet the changing environment. Community Vision is also seeking new premises as it hopes to move from its current administrative centre in the middle of Joondalup. |
