Family Day Care ServiceA Family Day Care Scheme comprises of self employed, licensed child Carers; a coordination team of childcare professionals; children and their families. Community Vision's Family Day Care Scheme offers quality childcare to families in the community, in a home environment. The Family Day Care Scheme is accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council under the Family Day Care Quality Assurance system.Community Vision, in partnership with Carers, ensure that a high standard of care is provided to children. The Carers, who operate out of their own homes, are licensed to care for children aged 0 to 12 years. The Scheme offers a range of affordable childcare options, such as long day care, respite and occasional care including weekend overnight care. The Scheme's Coordination Team includes Carer Link Facilitators (CLF) whose role involves visiting Carers on a regular basis to provide them with support, offer training, monitor service delivery in relation to best practice and child development and link them to appropriate resources. Carer Link Facilitators also conduct enrolment of children into care with Carers and maintain contact with families about care of their children. Families using care with Carers within Community Vision are able to access Childcare Benefit (CCB) as a fee reduction. Parents interested in the Family Day Care option are invited to contact Community Vision. We are able to provide details of Carers in your area who will be able to meet both your child's needs and your's as parents for reliable, high-quality family day care. We continue to maintain contact and give support to you and your children as your needs change. We work with the Carers to ensure the highest possible care is provided as your child grows, all within a home supportive individualised environment. Community Vision's Family Day Care Scheme also runs a Toy Library and a Playgroup Service for Carers in the Scheme.
