Veterans’ Home Care Programme

Community Vision's Veterans' Home Care Service is a "low level needs" programme funded by the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Eligibility

Access to the Veterans’ Home Care Service is based on the following criteria:

Be a Veteran of the Australian Defence Forces.
Be an Australian Mariner.
Be a war widow/widower of a Veteran of the Australian Defence Forces or an Australian Mariner.
Have a Repatriation Health Card for all conditions (Gold Card).
Have a Repatriation Health Card for specific conditions (White Card); and
Having been assessed as needing home care.

Services under Veterans’ Home Care include:

Domestic assistance.
Respite - in-home / residential.
Personal care.
Home and garden maintenance (minor).

Please call Veterans' Home Care on 1300 550 450 or (08)9301 8227 to make enquiries. Our staff make the assessment of what support services are needed and make the arrangements to ensure this is set up.
Community Vision organises services in the North Metro and South East Metro regions of Perth, Western Australia.
