Community Vision Clients Take Part in the Ultimate Challenge

The Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation is a trusted not-for-profit organisation based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Since 1986, Leeuwin has welcomed more than 40,000 young people onboard the STS Leeuwin II, Australia’s largest tall ship, a unique three-masted 1850’s-style barquentine built, owned and operated in Western Australia.

The Foundation’s primary purpose is the enrichment of young peoples’ lives through adventure, participation and challenge. Community Vision was very proud to sponsor two of our clients with a disability and one of our support workers to take the Ultimate Challenge, and participate in this Leeuwin Ocean Adventure.

Participants have the opportunity to experience the thrill of tall ship sailing in a safe and supportive environment. They meet new friends, learn new skills and increase their self-confidence on this exciting 5-day adventure.
