Social support with Community Vision is about helping you develop your social skills and resilience.

Community Engagement

Social situations can be intimidating, it’s not always easy to make new friends and to engage in the community.

Social support with Community Vision is about helping you develop your social skills and resilience as well as giving you a safe social space where you can meet and make new friends.

What kind of social support can I get?

The exact nature of social support really depends on your needs. At Community Vision, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Every social support plan is tailored to suit the individual, that’s you.

We offer a variety of social support services, these include:

  • Before and after school club
  • Cooking classes
  • School holiday programs
  • Social outings for people of all ages

We also offer the Kingsley Youth Space, a social hub for young people with disability aged 12+.

Kingsley Youth Space

Kingsley Youth Space is our social hub for young people with disability. Here you can meet new people, hang out with your friends, take part in workshops and even learn new skills!

For school leavers, you can pick up some vocational training and get help with our ASDAN certified programs!

Kingsley Youth Space is operated by our friendly and qualified staff, they can give you support and information about all our other services if you need it.
