Delivery of our services would not be possible without generous contributions and financial support from government, businesses and individuals.
Here are some suggestions how you can contribute to our great work:
Perhaps you are keen to make a contribution, but can’t commit to in the long haul? That’s OK, the size of your donation doesn’t matter. You can simply complete the Donation Form.
Regular donations through payroll/workplace giving
Payroll giving is where employees give small, regular donations from their pre-tax pay. It’s a simple way to make contribution to a worthy cause and be rewarded through instant tax benefits. What’s more, your workplace may already have a corporate social responsibility program where they boost or match employees’ donations or through in-kind donations. This report by the Australian Charities Fund provides more information about the benefits of workplace giving.
You can remember your loved ones, your colleagues or friends by making an ‘in memoriam’ donation to Community Vision. You can advise us if you want your donation declared in the name of the person you wish to remember this way and we will send you an ‘in memoriam’ certificate.
Organise a fundraising event
You’ve finally made a decision to do that fun run. You can nominate Community Vision as the beneficiary, and whilst you are getting fit and having fun, you are also raising funds for important community services.
You can celebrate your special day or occasion by asking your family and friends to donate to Community Vision. It could be your birthday, a street party, going away party, a work morning tea, a Melbourne cup get-together or another celebration with friends where you can raise awareness and raise funds for Community Vision.
Or how about hosting a quiz night, the office bake off, a sausage sizzle or a father’s day raffle? The fundraising ideas are endless. If you’re interested in running a fundraising event and would like some promotional material, please contact us on 08 9301 8222.
