Lucy’s Family Day Care will provide children with opportunities to learn, grow, explore their environment and play. There are beautiful inside and outside areas, equipped with lots of toys, interesting objects and adventures waiting to happen. There are activities for all areas of development, from sensory to physical. Planning is child lead – so the little ones will always be intrigued and interested in what is going on. Observations are thorough, to capture all those little milestones, with a focus on the voice of the child to input into planning. We go on regular excursions to parks, the library and playgroup and often further afield to AQWA and Scitech. We love parents to be involved in their child’s learning, so input about what children enjoy at home is more than welcome to make our learning journey just perfect!

I am a qualified Speech Pathologist, with an in-depth knowledge of child development and have over 10 years experience working with pre-school children.
